Every summer my small group is blessed to spend a weekend together at the Johnson family cabin. The weekend is spent relaxing, cooking and eating together, letting the kids take turns driving the pontoon, tubing, and swimming.
The kids clearly have fun!
I love that our group is so close that it feels like we are all co-parenting each others kids when we are together!
Unfortunately we were missing Jonell this year. Here is the Pacyga clan without their momma. We missed you!
This was Aria's second trip to the cabin. She had a great time. She loved her life jacket and she wanted to wear it all the time, even while we were packing the car up at home. I look forward to bringing her back each year and having this become an event she looks forward to as much as I do!
There were 8 kids and 7 adults. We have a crew of great kids!
This was Jayden's first time on a boat. It was really fun to be there for it because his dad Robert is a ships captain!
Joel lovingly packed up our kayaks for the trip. The last time I went kayaking was while I was pregnant with Aria.
I was so grateful to be out on the water again. I went a couple times with Joel and once with Bethany. Paddling was definitely one of my favorite parts of the weekend. Thank you Joel for packing the kayaks for me!
Thank you Johnson's for sharing your cabin with us once again. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and strengthening the bonds of our community.
I love you dear friends. I feel incredibly blessed to know you, to be loved by you and to be on this adventure of life alongside you!
