I know I say this every month but I can't believe she is 4 months old already! This month she is completely obsessed with her hands and feet. You can usually find her with both hands in her mouth or grabbing her feet. She arches her back a lot and does little bridges or lays on her side but still isn't rolling over onto her belly. Sometimes she will roll from her belly to her back. She moves around in circles by pushing with her feet. She likes to play in her play gym, read books, jump in her jumparoo and has giggled twice!
We had her 4 month wellness check up last week. She is doing great! She weighs 13 lbs 5 oz and is 23 inches long. Aria is still basically following a 3 hour eat, play, sleep routine but sometimes she sleeps an extra hour and ends up eating 4 hours later instead. I think she has been going through a growth spurt the last week or so because she has been extra sleepy during the day. At night she usually sleeps from around 10:30 pm to 7 am. I am still breastfeeding and supplementing with 4 oz of formula each feeding. She is currently wearing 3-6 month and 6 month clothes and 6 month pajamas.
Here are some of the things we did this month:
* We started the month off with a Labor Day pool party at Lacey's. Here is Grandma with all of her grandkids!
*We try to do a weekly skype date with Nana and Papa Stewart. They come to visit next week! Yay!
* We brought dinner over to our friends Kate and Tyge who have a newborn daughter named Aven. I love this pic because not only does it capture Aria wearing her first headband but it is also a great image of her at 4 months with her hands perpetually in her mouth!
*We clearly have a good time every morning playing and doing tummy time exercises. She has a little more fun doing core exercises than her mommy does!
*This is us waiting in line for the delicious pancake feed at the fire station during Turkey Days in Worthington.
Later both daddy and Aria were sleepy after the 5K, pancake feed, turkey races, parade and apple picking!
*We went to visit Melody at school during lunch. She was the star of the week. I can hardly believe she is a first grader already!
* Here we are dressed up at Aubree's 2nd birthday party!
The birthday girl and her momma! Aubree looked adorable in the birthday shirt I made her! I can't wait for Aria's hair to be long enough for me to put in pigtails...on second thought I can wait, slow down baby girl you are growing too fast!
