30 weeks

30 weeks!!!  I have been filling out a pregnancy journal called "The Belly Book" since the beginning of the pregnancy.  It is really weird to have only a few entries left to do...that means we are getting close to the end or the beginning I guess!

Highs of the 30th week:

*Passing my second glucose screening.  I was relieved to find out that I don't have gestational diabetes!

*I am currently enjoying spring break.  The weather has been amazing!

*I have enjoyed lots of time with friends and family over the last week.

*I had an impromptu girls night which involved pizza (and dessert pizza YUM!) and watching the movie "Love's Kitchen" which we had very low expectations for but we all enjoyed!

*Over the weekend I went to Colfax to hang out with my mom.  It was a wonderfully relaxing time.  Also both she and Brian got to feel their granddaughter kicking!  We were able to have breakfast together on my birthday before I headed back to the cities to meet up with more friends for my birthday.

*My friends and sisters joined me for lunch at Key's Cafe and then we all had pedicures.  It was fun to be able to get together during the day because we all were on spring break.  Tahnee even came up early so we were able to be together on our 28th birthday!

*Joel returned safely from the South by Southwest game conference in Austin, Texas

*We had a wonderful "Babymoon" in Bayfield, WI which I will be sure to post more about soon

*Joel got the crib put together! Yay for starting the nursery!!!

Lows of the 30th week:

*Lots of leg cramping and discovering my first stretch marks!

*Crazy hot flashes!

*I twisted my ankle as we were leaving Bayfield.  Luckily I didn't fall but in catching myself I hurt my back.  Hopefully I can get in to see the chiropractor on Monday!

Overall everything is going well.  I had my 30 week doctors appointment and we are growing right on schedule!  Keep growing baby girl!
